Volunteer workers

The Finnish Gymnastics Federation is responsible for organizing Gymnaestrada. JoenVoLi is in charge of arrangements at two competition venues: the Ice Hall and the Sports Hall.

We need a large number of volunteers for various tasks at our venues—both during the event days (June 4–7, 2026) and in the days leading up to it for setup. Mark the event in your calendar and dive into this amazing experience!

Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, including: Access control, Award ceremonies, Announcing, Competition organization, Coffee service and catering, Cleaning, Guiding and assisting visitors, Decorating, Equipment transport, ...and more!

Training and guidance will be provided for all tasks. You can request volunteer shifts based on your own schedule.

Volunteers will receive:

• Training and orientation for their role

• A volunteer pass

• A T-shirt

• A certificate of participation

• Snacks and lunch depending on the length of the shift
